Vinolok, a leading manufacturer of premium glass closures for food and beverage packaging, presents its 2025 results, a year characterized by market pressures, operational consolidation, and sustainability goals.
In 2025, the company reported revenue of €16.6 million (CZK 410 million), an 11% decrease compared to the previous year. This result reflects the ongoing challenges in the global beverage and packaging markets, as well as the stabilization of its distribution network and operating model.
During the year, a total of 1,370 tons of glass were processed through four furnaces and several forming lines. This capacity allowed for the production of 25 different closure shapes and 14 interchangeable decorative options, confirming the company’s ability to combine production flexibility, customization, and premium design.
2025 also marked further progress in the production consolidation process, aimed at improving efficiency and strengthening long-term competitiveness.
Sustainability and the circular economy: a certified commitment
Sustainability continues to be a fundamental pillar of Vinolok’s philosophy. The glass used is made from high-quality quartz sand sourced just a few kilometers from the plant in Northern Bohemia, ensuring a short and responsible supply chain. The company reuses 99% of its glass waste, significantly reducing waste and CO₂ emissions and actively contributing to the circular economy.
In 2025, Vinolok also strengthened its environmental leadership by obtaining the “Ready to Recycle” certification from CIRCPACK by Verallia, which officially certifies the full recyclability and circularity of its glass closures. This certification represents an important milestone in the company’s sustainability journey and confirms its commitment to recyclable and single-material packaging solutions. Vinolok continues to invest in research and development to minimize its environmental impact, reduce material waste, and improve the energy efficiency of its operations.
Located in Crystal Valley, in the Jizera Mountains, the site combines Czech glassmaking tradition with the most advanced industrial technologies, creating closures that enhance the aesthetics of the packaging while preserving the integrity of the product.
