During the 2026 edition of the Cerevisia Award, held in June, the national jury awarded numerous prizes to the beers entered by Birrificio del Ducato.
The Cerevisia Award stands out on the national scene for the rigour of its assessments, based on rigorous chemical and physical tests conducted by Cerb (the Research Centre for Beer Excellence) and on sensory analysis sessions carried out by a jury of experts operating at national level.
“This success is the direct result of the daily work, precision and dedication of our entire team at the brewery”, commented the management of Birrificio del Ducato. “From the rigorous selection of raw materials to the meticulous monitoring of every single stage of production”, they added, “our aim has always been to offer a product with a distinctive character and impeccable consistency. These awards highlight our company’s long-standing commitment to fostering a culture of quality beer in Italy”.
The top honours received across the various competition categories testify to the versatility and strength of Birrificio del Ducato’s range, which is capable of performing at the highest technical levels, whether in interpretations of more traditional styles or in more modern, hoppy brews.
Among the award-winning brews are:
- Viaemilia (Italian Pilsner)
- A.F.O. (Session IPA)
- Machete (Double IPA)
- Paradox (Belgian Tripel)
Details of the individual award-winning beers and the technical specifications of the winning brews can be found on the brewery’s official website.
