The Innovation Award goes to “Sources de Pédourès Glass.” The new glass bottle, created thanks to the acquisition of French company Eau Neuve, is recognized as an out-of-home innovation, recognizing the Group’s successful multichannel strategy

The Acqua Sant’Anna Sources de Pédourès Glass has won the prestigious Barawards Innovation of the Year 2026 Award in the Beverages category, the recognition promoted by Bargiornale and Ristoranti that celebrates the most cutting-edge products and services for the out-of-home dining industry.

The award ceremony took place in Milan, at the Palazzo della Cultura (home of Tecniche Nuove), during Innovation Day.

For over 15 years, the Barawards Innovation of the Year Award has recognized the industry’s commitment to providing hospitality professionals with tools capable of driving forward the entire sector. This year, out of 80 submitted solutions, the jury – composed of a qualified panel of industry experts (consultants, professionals, and distributors) – evaluated the products based on five crucial parameters: Design/packaging, Functionality/ergonomics, Sales prospects, Market relevance, and Environmental impact.

The expert’s technical vote was also supplemented by readers’ online votes, which accounted for 20% of the total, demonstrating the strong appreciation of the public and industry professionals for Acqua Sant’Anna’s offering.

This prestigious award not only recognizes the excellence of the product itself, but also crowns the forward-thinking, no-channel strategy that Acqua Sant’Anna has recently implemented, aiming to fully cover all consumption contexts. This vision aims to ensure maximum consistency between product quality, sustainability, and versatility, responding to the new lifestyles and needs of contemporary consumers. This initiative has allowed the Group to accelerate the development of exclusive formats and packaging for the Ho.Re.Ca. sector, finding in glass the ideal packaging for the tables of the most refined restaurants and trendy venues, meeting the current market’s demand for elegance, premium quality, and sustainability.

Acqua Sant’Anna Sources de Pédourès Glass, available in 0.33 L and 0.75 L formats, in both still and sparkling versions, represents one of the most innovative formats in the range launched by Acqua Sant’Anna following the acquisition of the French brand Eau Neuve. This acquisition has allowed the company to expand its sustainable packaging offering – including aluminum, paper, and glass – further strengthening its commitment to circularity and enriching its already established presence of R-PET and PLA solutions.

The water contained comes from the Pédourès spring, at an altitude of 1,332 meters in Haute-Ariège, in the heart of the Pyrenees: microbiologically pure, with very low mineralization and a fixed residue of just 66 mg/l. This quality gives it exceptional lightness and an ideal profile for everyday consumption.

This award fills us with pride because it truly validates the strategic direction we’ve taken“, says Cristiana Genta, Marketing Director of Acqua Sant’Anna. “The acquisition of Eau Neuve has allowed us to diversify our offering and establish a distinctive, premium offering in the Ho.Re.Ca. channel. The Glass format combines the purity and extraordinary properties of the spring water with a sophisticated design, specifically designed for restaurant and hospitality professionals seeking style, functionality, and sustainability in a single product“.
