At the heart of this year’s theme is the Nativity scene, featuring the Holy Family and the Baby Jesus. This depiction pays homage to Saint Francis of Assisi, who originated the tradition of the Christmas Nativity scene

This year, once again, Birra FORST is presenting the 23rd limited-edition, collector’s version of its Christmas Beer, in the iconic 2-litre siphon bottle

At the centre of this year’s design is the Nativity scene with the Holy Family and the Baby Jesus. Encircled by a radiant star, this depiction creates a link between the Christmas message and everyday life.

At the same time, the design pays tribute to St Francis of Assisi, whose 800th anniversary of death will be celebrated in 2026. It was, in fact, the Saint who, in 1223, gave rise to the tradition of the Christmas nativity scene.

The design was created by the South Tyrolean artist Franz J. Platter in the studio at FORST Brewery and is handmade.

FORST Christmas Beer 2026 will be on sale at the FORST Christmas Forest, available in the online shop, at FORST pubs and restaurants, in SPILLER restaurants and in the FORST Shop. It also represents the company itself, which will celebrate its 170th anniversary in 2027.

What’s more, at the new FORST Post Office, you will be able to buy the commemorative stamp dedicated to FORST Beer and the accompanying philatelic folder. An opportunity to celebrate an important first: FORST Beer is, in fact, the first Italian brewery to be honoured with a stamp by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, in recognition of its value and role in the national brewing tradition.
