In the premium wine bottling sector, labelling plays a strategic role in enhancing both the product and the brand identity. In this context, Cavagnino & Gatti has recently completed the delivery and commissioning of a new labelling machine for a leading Piedmontese wine producer, confirming its strong specialization in the labeling field.

The labeller, designed for a production capacity of 6,000 bottles per hour, is dedicated to the application of self-adhesive labels on cylindrical and tapered glass wine bottles, ensuring precision and reliability across different formats.

The configuration includes two distinct set-ups: DOCG neck label, body label, seal, Russian tax stamp and back label; Neck label, body label, “I”-shaped seal and back label.

The machine is equipped with a vision system featuring a camera for bottle orientation, allowing perfect label positioning based on specific references such as the glass seam, UV notch, cartouches or other distinctive elements on the container, thus guaranteeing a high-quality aesthetic result.

After an initial start-up phase and rapid operator training, the machine quickly reached full operational status, ensuring excellent performances, high production stability and consistent reliability. This project once again highlights Cavagnino & Gatti’s commitment to develop technologically advanced, tailor-made labeling solutions for leading wine producers.
