UNIBLOCK MEC LD: fruit juice filling in glass bottles

Share

Eurostar’s MEC LD all-in-one machine combines the three stages of packaging – internal cleaning, filling and capping – into a single machine

Turning fruit that is unsuitable for sale as fresh produce into juice helps make better use of resources and reduce food waste. Glass completes this process with recyclable packaging.

For this sector, Eurostar offers the MEC LD uniblock, which integrates the three main packaging stages into a single machine: internal bottle cleaning, filling and capping.

Bottle cleaning can be performed using sterile air injection or water rinsing, depending on production requirements. Dedicated systems prevent air or water injection when no bottle is present.

The filler is configured to suit the specific characteristics of the juice, with flow and level control, an agitator for products containing pulp, and solutions for hot filling. Precise and gentle processing helps preserve product quality and organoleptic properties, particularly in the case of natural juices without additives.

Capping completes the process, protecting the integrity of the juice and helping preserve its quality. In addition to the widely used ROPP aluminium screw caps, Eurostar offers capping turrets compatible with the main closure types available on the market, ensuring accurate and reliable application.
