In the beverage sector, large production volumes and high consumption rates make line efficiency, packaging optimization, and the drastic reduction of plastic essential strategic priorities. The recent European PPWR regulation, which imposes extremely stringent constraints and targets regarding packaging recyclability, waste reduction, and the mandatory use of recycled materials, also pushes this forward.
ITAPACK, a company founded in 2011 and headquartered in Aquino (Frosinone), effectively responds to these complex market needs by offering a complete range of innovative automatic machines, specifically designed to optimize end-of-line processes, reduce environmental impact, and enhance product image on the shelf. With a qualified team of 25 employees and a fleet of approximately 400 systems installed and serviced worldwide, the company stands out for its engineering approach focused on maximum flexibility and the tailored customization of each project.

In the beverage sector, ITAPACK solutions range from systems for applying adhesive handles to high-precision labeling, multiple packaging using stretch film (Stretch Sleeve) or tape, and load stabilization.
Among the flagship solutions are the KB series automatic handle applicators, featuring a single-arm architecture driven by servomotors. This technology allows for the application of self-adhesive handles with extreme accuracy on multiple formats (multipacks, boxes, or single containers), improving ergonomics for the consumer and efficiency in large-scale retail logistics. The versions with oblique or lateral handle application even eliminate the need for a primary label, applying barcodes, legal data, and logos directly to the tape.
In addition to handle applicators, ITAPACK offers labeling and stretch sleeve packaging with low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film. By exploiting the elasticity of the cold-applied material alone, without the use of glue or energy-intensive heat-shrink tunnels, 360-degree decoration, reduced consumption, and complete recyclability are achieved.
Sustainability is also expressed in the KMT series with adhesive band (in BOPP or paper), ideal for creating stable multipacks while minimizing plastic.

A true logistics innovation is the KFP system for stabilizing half-pallets (Düsseldorf). Positioned downstream from the wrapper, the module aligns two pre-wrapped half-pallets and, using a rotating arm, applies three or four turns of adhesive tape to the top. This creates a “high-altitude” traction ring that holds the pallets together and prevents them from tipping over during transport, ensuring maximum safety with just a few grams of material.
The range is completed by industrial scales for in-transit weight control with automatic rejection.
With a strong Made in Italy focus, ITAPACK confirms itself as the ideal technological partner for the packaging of the future.
