Packaging: Tetra Pak and Conserve Italia strengthen collaboration

Conserve Italia has chosen the 250 and 300 ml Tetra Prisma® Aseptic Edge DreamCap™ 26 Pro formats with Tetra Pak anti-littering cap for some of its flagship products in the fruit juice and iced tea segment

Conserve Italia has selected Tetra Prisma® Aseptic Edge DreamCap™ 26 Pro 250 and 300 ml formats with Tetra Pak anti-litter caps for some of its flagship fruit juice and iced tea products for the out-of-home market. This development marks the strengthening of a long-standing partnership between the two companies, spanning over 40 years.

Specifically, Tetra Prisma® Aseptic Edge in the 250 ml format was chosen to expand the premium organic juice offering with the Valfrutta range, specifically Organic Peach Juice and Pulp, and for Yoga, with the 100% Orange Juice and Yoga AQ products. Derby Blue was the first brand in Italy to adopt Tetra Prisma® Aseptic Edge 300 ml for its retail and vending channels, thus renewing its range with Blood Orange, ACE, and Multifrutti Zero flavors—no added sugar. These are joined by the Yoga iced tea ranges, such as Yotea Lemon Iced Tea and Yotea Peach Iced Tea, also available in the Tetra Prisma® Aseptic 300 ml format.

The Tetra Prisma® Aseptic packages, made primarily with raw materials from renewable plant-based sources and featuring the DreamCap 26 Pro anti-litter cap, are designed to ensure portability, hygiene, and recyclability. The cap, in particular, ensures optimal flow and comfortable drinking, while the ergonomic profile of the pack promotes a secure and pleasant grip, making the drinking experience practical and suitable for on-the-go. At the same time, the sleek, eye-catching prismatic shape offers brands a modern and distinctive look, fully customizable to create co-branding synergies with restaurant chains and beyond. These features also make Tetra Prisma® Aseptic Edge packaging particularly suitable for the vending, Horeca, travel retail, and Grab & Go channels.

Today, Conserve Italia has approximately 20 Tetra Pak packaging machines dedicated to juices, tomato sauces, legumes, and soups, and has helped make some of the main Tetra Pak packs iconic in Italy, such as the Tetra Classic Aseptic 100 Slim of the famous Valfrutta ‘Triangolini’.
