This is Giuseppe Sicignano, who took over from Carlo Artusi, who now holds the position of Manufacturing Director

Since the beginning of this year, Giuseppe Sicignano has been the new Director of Birra Peroni’s Padua plant, reporting directly to Andrea Sutti, Integrated Supply Chain Director, and taking over from Carlo Artusi, who has taken on the position of Manufacturing Director.

After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Sicignano began his career at Unilever as a Process Improvement Engineer, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, eventually becoming Maintenance Manager. He then joined Johnson & Johnson as Operations Manager and in 2024 he joined Birra Peroni as Packaging Lead, “contributing significantly – according to a company statement – to the transformation of the Packaging Engineering function and the development and implementation of various innovation projects and strategic investments”.

“I wish Giuseppe the best of luck in this new venture! Over the years we have worked together, he has demonstrated experience and leadership skills that will be invaluable in making the Padua plant increasingly important within our Group for all our strategic priorities, from the safety and well-being of our people to the continuous improvement of our processes“, comments Andrea Sutti. “This appointment – he concludes – makes us particularly proud because it is concrete evidence of our commitment to developing talent through the enhancement of skills and professional growth”.
