Nimax at Cibus Tec 2026: the value of being a Solution Provider

Share

Weighing, inspection, vision, and coding converge into a unified perspective on production. At Cibus Tec 2026, Nimax presents its approach as a solution provider, centered on the concept: “Every connection counts. Every process counts. Every decision counts.”

At Cibus Tec 2026, Nimax is bringing a different way of looking at the production line to the trade fair: not a sequence of independent machines, but a system in which weighing, inspection, vision and coding take place at different times and contribute to the final result.

In Hall 02, Stand H 026, this vision shapes the company’s presence and its positioning as a Solution Provider for the food & beverage sector: an approach that starts from the customer’s needs and links different solutions and areas of expertise according to the production process, going beyond the supply of individual machines.

The stand concept translates this positioning into three dimensions: “Every connection counts. Every process counts. Every decision counts.” Connections, processes and decisions become the coordinates through which to interpret Nimax’s contribution to production: linking technologies, data and people, overseeing the various stages and making useful information available to intervene in the process. The versions dedicated to the solutions on display at the stand are linked to this message. The dual meaning of “counts” brings together what is important to the manufacturer and what can be measured, recorded, verified and tracked.

“For us, being a ‘solution provider’ means starting with the customer’s needs and looking at the production line as a whole, going beyond the individual machine”, says Elena Marchi, Head of Marketing at Nimax. “At Cibus Tec, we want to bring this approach to life by integrating various technologies, areas of expertise, and services into a single, unified vision—with one clear objective: to enhance quality, efficiency, and control throughout the entire production process”.

From the gram to the code: key points to monitor within the stand

The solutions presented by Nimax at Cibus Tec are:

The checkweigher Lumina
  • Lumina, the checkweigher developed by Nemesis and distributed by Nimax, is the first truly multimedia checkweigher: it features a 15” multitouch monitor and can even be controlled remotely via smartphone, tablet, or PC. Thanks to EasyWeigh technology, product changeovers are quick and require no lengthy learning procedures, keeping production moving while ensuring consistently accurate weighing. Its open architecture and hygienic design—with IP65-rated protection—meet the highest food safety standards.
  • For X-ray inspection, the Aicon Side Scan 1-View BV PCT will be featured; it is designed for the inspection of upright containers such as jars, bottles, cans, and PET containers. Its Photon Counting Technology, in a side-scan configuration, enables the inspection of even the most critical areas—including the base, sidewalls, and cap/closure zone—delivering exceptional performance in highly complex applications, such as the detection of glass fragments within glass containers.
The Domino Ux360i UV laser
  • Coding will be showcased at a dedicated demo station featuring the Domino Ux360i UV laser, designed for precise marking—even on sensitive materials such as films, mono-plastics, and substrates intended for recycling. The system supports serialization, batch numbering, and 2D codes that comply with GS1 standards. Domino is a long-standing partner of Nimax, which serves as its exclusive distributor in Italy.

New partners and new collaborations

Nimax is expanding its portfolio in the field of vision systems by welcoming TriVision as a new technology partner. These solutions are designed for packaging control—specifically for inspecting the integrity of package seals—to detect defects and help reduce both waste and production downtime.

Also featured among the company’s latest developments is a collaboration with GS1 Italy, for which Nimax is now an official Solution Partner. In this capacity, the company supports manufacturers in adopting international GS1 standards and implementing processes for identification, coding, and traceability throughout the supply chain.

At Cibus Tec (Hall 02, Stand H 026), visitors can explore this approach further by taking a close look at various weighing, inspection, vision, and coding solutions as applied to a production line.
