A beer bottle moves along the line and receives its closure; at that precise moment, a crucial aspect of the final quality is determined: carbonation must remain intact, hop aromas protected, and freshness preserved right up to the moment it reaches the glass. Capping is not merely a step in the process, but the final act by which the brewery safeguards its product and upholds its promise to the consumer.
Based in Canelli, AROL develops capping solutions for breweries and beverage producers worldwide, drawing on expertise built over nearly fifty years of experience, spanning materials from glass to aluminum and PET, and closures ranging from crown caps and mushroom corks to ring-pulls.
Capping solutions for any production challenge
Every brewery has needs that evolve over time; that is why AROL offers a range designed to support their growth.
For craft breweries, EAGLE C is the single-head capper for steel, aluminum, or stainless steel crown caps, capable of handling up to 3,000 bottles per hour.

When volumes increase, REVERSE C reaches 14,000 bph, while multi-head rotary presses move up in scale: Esse reaches 18,000 bph and Esse PK, developed for high-capacity production, reaches up to 60,000 bph.
When flexibility makes the difference, DUAL comes into play: using a single capping head, it handles steel and aluminum crowns, ring-pulls, mushroom and flush corks, aluminum ROPP caps, and pre-threaded plastic caps at speeds of up to 2,500 bph. This allows the line to accommodate seasonal runs and special editions without requiring a dedicated machine. The range is rounded out by elevators, orienters, and de-cappers.
From machine to data: MORE
Today, capping is no longer merely a mechanical task; it is a data-driven process. MORE — Monitoring, Optimization, Reporting, Evaluation — consolidates data from cappers, lines, and systems into a single interface, covering machine status, energy consumption, KPIs, maintenance actions, and critical event notifications. A comprehensive view of the line enables intervention before a problem escalates into downtime.
CL•O•SE: support doesn’t stop at installation
High-performance technology requires a service to match. With CL•O•SE – CLass One SErvice, AROL offers customers an integrated after-sales program backed by over 70 qualified technicians worldwide: scheduled and predictive maintenance, certified reconditioned components, overhaul of critical components, a testing laboratory for various cap formats, and dedicated training for operators and maintenance staff.
Upcoming events in Milan
Capping technologies are best understood when seen in action. AROL will be at Filiera Birra — the event organized by Imbottigliamento in Milan on October 15 — and at SIMEI from November 17 to 20 (Hall 4, Stand L12-M1). These are two opportunities to meet the AROL technical team and discover how capping can become a genuine competitive advantage for your production line.
