The new planetary servo gear units from SEW-EURODRIVE expand the PxG® series to include performance classes P1 to P3. These are the PxG® economy models, which combine cost-effectiveness and reliability with efficient operation, and are ideal for automation applications with modest requirements in terms of precision and power density

The PxG® economy series servo gearboxes are characterised by their extremely compact design, low noise levels and high power density. Thanks to their modular design and the wide range of reduction ratios available, these servo gearboxes are easily adaptable to a wide variety of applications: handling and feeding systems, packaging and palletising, material handling, machine tools and special-purpose machinery.

The servo gearboxes in this series are available in three performance classes:

• P1.G. – featuring servo drive technology: simple, compact and cost-effective.
• P2.G. – the ideal choice for applications involving slightly higher mechanical loads.
• P3.G. – combines cost-effectiveness with a high level of technical performance, ideal for applications involving high radial and dynamic loads.

Thanks to three performance grades available in a range of sizes and models, the new PxG® economy tyres offer great flexibility for a variety of applications and are compatible with and in line with standard market specifications in terms of geometry and performance.
