The award recognizes the Riserva Lux Aurea reference for having distinguished itself “for its quality, vision and ability to effectively interpret the strategic role of packaging in the Wine & Spirits sector, in an evaluation context characterized by particularly high standards”

Bonollo 1908 won the Vinitaly Design Award with its Riserva Lux Aurea. The award was presented by a jury of 30 experts, including designers, art directors, and specialized journalists, who recognized Riserva Lux Aurea for standing out “for its quality, vision, and ability to effectively interpret the strategic role of packaging in the Wine & Spirits sector, in an evaluation context characterized by particularly high standards.”

“Riserva Lux Aurea,” reads a statement from Bonollo 1908, “represents the fruit of our company’s innovative streak and drive for excellence in the category of fine aged grappas. The blend is born from a careful selection of harmonious and elegant grappas, aged in oak barrels for a full eight years. The concept draws strength from the myth of Prometheus: fire, stolen from the gods and given to mankind as ‘golden light’ to ignite progress, is here reinterpreted by master distillers as a vital spark that animates the raw material. Finally, this masterpiece of flavor is preserved in an architecturally designed decanter, conceived not only to amaze, but to protect the essence of centuries-old knowledge distilled with passion.”

The Vinitaly Design Award victory—the statement continues—is part of a journey of excellence and innovation spanning four generations. Since 1908, with founder Giuseppe Bonollo and his then-innovative steam stills, the family has pioneered the use of modern technologies. Today, the company is also a benchmark for the circular economy, leveraging, through the Bonollo Single System, every resource nature provides, even after the distillate has been obtained.
