From 27 to 30 October, M.H. Material Handling<\/a><\/strong> will be at CibusTec 2026<\/a><\/strong> with a selection of solutions dedicated to Hygienic Design. The aim is to show how product handling systems can be designed from the outset around accessibility, ease of cleaning and sanitation, adapting each solution to the actual requirements of the line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of the stand will be Sani-Line<\/strong>, the family developed by M.H. for food applications where machine cleanability is an integral part of the design. Sani-Flex<\/strong> applies these principles to modular conveyors, with an open AISI 304 stainless-steel structure, continuous welds, no hollow sections and a modular chain that can be lifted manually to facilitate access to the areas underneath during washing and inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The same approach extends to other handling requirements. Sani-Belt<\/strong> brings Hygienic Design principles to belt conveyors, while Sani-Lift<\/strong> manages changes in elevation while maintaining the same focus on structure, accessibility and cleanability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stainless steel, however, is only the starting point. A machine designed for food environments must also take into account what happens when production stops: washing, surface inspection, sanitation where required and subsequent restart. For this reason, geometry, drainage, accessibility and the reduction of stagnation points become design factors that are just as important as the conveying function itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At CibusTec, M.H. will also present Steam-Flex<\/strong>, a solution developed together with SteamItaly<\/strong> that integrates a steam-cleaning chamber directly into the conveyor. The concept takes a further step beyond cleanability alone: rather than simply designing a conveyor to be easy to wash, the cleaning technology itself becomes part of the handling system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim is not to automatically replace every sanitation procedure, but to bring the action of steam directly to the conveying surface and to design the machine and cleaning process together, according to the operating conditions and specific requirements of the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sani-Line and Steam-Flex therefore represent two complementary aspects of the same approach: on one side, a structure developed around Hygienic Design principles; on the other, the integration of a dedicated cleaning technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each configuration is defined according to the product, the area of the line and the expected washing procedures, avoiding the application of the same level of cleanability where it is not required and focusing design choices where they are truly critical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
