Following the certification process conducted by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tuvsud.com\/en\">T\u00dcV S\u00dcD<\/a><\/strong>, the plant achieved an &#8220;<strong>A+&#8221; rating<\/strong> \u2014 the highest level under the certification scheme \u2014 guaranteeing a r<strong>ecycled glass content of 90% or higher <\/strong>in the bottles produced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ReMade Class A+ certification aligns with the direction and principles of the &#8220;<strong>Cento per Cento Sicilia<\/strong>&#8221; (100% Sicily) project, launched by O-I years ago to support the island&#8217;s wine supply chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sicilian model is based on a <strong>short, circular supply chain<\/strong> in which glass sorted by the island&#8217;s residents is collected and processed before<strong> entering the O-I plant in Marsala as raw material<\/strong>. There, the cullet is melted down to create new bottles composed of <strong>over 90% locally sourced recycled glass<\/strong>.
