{"id":241062,"date":"2026-09-23T11:25:35","date_gmt":"2026-09-23T09:25:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.alimentibevande.it\/uncategorized\/mangimi-pubblicato-il-rapporto-sui-controlli-ufficiali-2024\/"},"modified":"2026-09-23T11:31:02","modified_gmt":"2026-09-23T09:31:02","slug":"animal-feed-2024-report-on-official-controls-published","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alimentibevande.it\/en\/food-safety\/animal-feed-2024-report-on-official-controls-published\/","title":{"rendered":"Animal feed: 2024 report on official controls published"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Ministry of Health has published <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salute.gov.it\/new\/sites\/default\/files\/2026-09\/Rapporto%20Controlli%20Ufficiali%20mangimi%202024%20def%2024-07-2026.pdf\"><strong>the results of the official inspections carried out in 2024 on the feed supply chain as<\/strong><\/a> part of the National Animal Feed Plan (PNAA).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Across the country, <strong>more than 8,200<\/strong> <strong>inspections <\/strong>were reported at <strong>7,856<\/strong> <strong>operators<\/strong>, with<strong> 430 <\/strong>cases of <strong>non-compliance<\/strong> of varying degrees found, representing<strong> 5.21%<\/strong> of the total number of inspections. In relation to the non-conformities detected, 38 administrative penalties were imposed, representing <strong>8.8%<\/strong> of the non-conformities detected, down from 2013, when the figure was 13%, and <strong>a complaint was reported to the Judicial Authorities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Excluding activities outside the plan and those based on suspicion, <strong>9,196 official feed samples <\/strong>were ultimately taken, compared with the 9,264 planned. Analyses carried out by the Official Laboratories of the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institutes revealed <strong>52 samples that did not comply<\/strong> with the requirements of the legislation, representing <strong>0.56%<\/strong> of the total number of samples taken, down 0.2% on the previous year. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over 8,200 premises were inspected and 430 instances of non-compliance were identified.
