Crealis<\/strong><\/a>‘ Sustainability Report 2025<\/strong><\/strong> recounts a year of profound transformation for the company: product innovation, investments in renewable energy and increasing focus on people and customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the most significant results is the sharp increase in the use of electricity from renewable sources, which has risen from 18% to 42%<\/strong> of the Group’s total needs, thanks to investments in photovoltaic production, process electrification and energy efficiency. These initiatives have contributed to a 24% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions (direct and indirect emissions related to purchased energy) <\/strong>compared to 2024 and reinforce the goal of building a lower-carbon future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside environmental aspects, the report highlights the role of innovation<\/strong>. In 2025, Crealis expanded its portfolio of low-environmental-impact solutions<\/strong> by developing products that utilize recycled materials, lightweight components, and alternative materials. Innovations include the Virtuo <\/strong>recycled-tin capsule and the TOP-L<\/strong> cork liner for crown caps \u2014 both of which enable significant carbon footprint reductions<\/strong>1<\/a><\/sup> <\/strong>compared to conventional products \u2014 as well as the Green Tech<\/strong> line. The latter offers solutions featuring recycled content and alternative materials, such as the Symbiosis <\/strong>large-format capsule; made primarily from paper laminated with aluminum, it exemplifies a design that combines aesthetics, technical performance, and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attention has also been focused on people, yielding positive results: a 9% reduction in workplace accidents <\/strong>and ISO 45001 <\/strong>certification (the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems) for five of the eight European production sites. The launch of the first Group-wide Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) survey provided valuable insights into employee engagement and future priorities regarding leadership and talent development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside the ongoing strengthening of the safety culture, efforts to enhance supply chain responsibility are also continuing; 81% of strategic suppliers have signed the Crealis Code of Conduct, and 20 strategic suppliers have been assessed based on ESG criteria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
