On this basis, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.evolioexpo.com\/en\/\">EVOLIO Expo<\/a><\/strong> is back, returning to the <strong>Fiera del Levante in Bari<\/strong> from <strong>28 to 30 January 2027<\/strong> with the third edition of the B2B event dedicated to extra virgin olive oil and the olive-oil supply chain. Organised by <strong>Senaf<\/strong> on behalf of <strong>Nuova Fiera del Levante<\/strong>, EVOLIO Expo continues the path started in the first two editions with the aim of bringing together producers, millers, Italian and foreign buyers, Ho.Re.Ca., large-scale distribution and retail operators, institutions, associations and professionals in the sector. A project created to offer companies concrete opportunities for meeting and development, but also to showcase Evo oil as a productive, cultural, nutritional and territorial heritage of Made in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new edition comes at a significant time for the sector. ISMEA <strong>estimates based on Agea data<\/strong>, which are based on declarations from the mills, indicate an estimated Italian olive oil production of <strong>325,000 tonnes<\/strong> for the 2025\/26 season, up <strong>31%<\/strong> on the previous season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a positive sign for a sector that continues to grapple with the dynamics of international markets and the need to strengthen the positioning of Italian EVO oil in the main destination countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, the challenge for Italian companies therefore lies not only in product availability, but in their ability to defend and communicate the value of extra virgin olive oil, strengthen their sales channels and attract qualified buyers. EVOLIO Expo fits perfectly into this trajectory, serving as a hub for the supply chain and a tool for connecting supply and demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What will the next edition focus on? The programme will once again centre on the three overarching themes that characterise EVOLIO Expo and define its identity: \u2018<strong>Oil is Health<\/strong>\u2019, with in-depth analysis of the role of extra virgin olive oil in the Mediterranean diet and its nutritional and nutraceutical properties; \u2018<strong>Oil is Tourism<\/strong>\u2019, focusing on the potential of olive oil tourism as a driver of regional development and a means of promoting olive-growing areas; and \u2018Oil is Innovation\u2019, dedicated to new technologies, advanced production models and solutions to make the olive and olive oil supply chain more competitive and sustainable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the three days, there will be B2B meetings, talks, conferences, guided tastings, masterclasses, tasting courses, showcooking and in-depth sessions with experts, producers, buyers, chefs, doctors, researchers and representatives of institutions. An event designed to provide a broad view of extra-virgin olive oil: not only a quality agricultural product, but a central ingredient of the Mediterranean diet, an element that identifies the regions, a lever for experiential tourism and a competitive asset for businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The growth of the event is confirmed by the results of the last edition: <strong>6,720 visitors<\/strong>, <strong>150 exhibiting companies<\/strong>, <strong>20 associations, bodies and institutions<\/strong>, <strong>over 100 events<\/strong> including conferences, talks, tastings, masterclasses and events, <strong>50 international buyers from 16 strategic countries<\/strong>, an increase of <strong>+127% compared to 2025<\/strong>, who held <strong>over 700 meetings<\/strong> with the companies present. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The results of the second edition give us an important responsibility: to continue a project that has proven to be beneficial to businesses and recognized by operators&#8221;, says <strong>Gaetano Frulli, President of Nuova Fiera del Levante<\/strong>. &#8220;EVOLIO Expo was born in Puglia, but it speaks to the entire national extra virgin olive oil supply chain.
