7 is World Food Safety Day"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>World Food Safety Day<\/strong> is celebrated on <strong>June 7<\/strong>, promoted by the <strong>WHO <\/strong>and <strong>FAO <\/strong>to raise awareness of the importance of food safety for protecting health.<br>This year&#8217;s official theme is &#8220;<strong>From burden to solutions: safe food everywhere<\/strong>&#8221; to emphasize how having scientifically reliable data on foodborne diseases can help national authorities, food business operators, and consumers prioritize risks and make informed choices aimed at protecting health.<br>Five priority areas for action have been identified for this day:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ensuring safety<\/strong> \u2014 Governments must ensure universal access to safe and nutritionally adequate food;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Producing safely<\/strong> \u2014 Farmers and food producers must adopt good production practices (GAP and GMP);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Preserving safety<\/strong> \u2014 Supply chain operators must maintain effective food safety management systems;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Knowing about safety<\/strong> \u2014 Consumers need adequate food education to make informed choices;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Working as a system <\/strong>\u2014 Only through collaboration between all stakeholders can safe food be guaranteed everywhere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To learn more, consult the <a
