business lines include Spirits, Wines and Ingredients, with over 800 employees, a turnover of 370 million euros and operations in around 160 countries worldwide, announces the completion of the closing signed on 28 May 2026 to <strong>finalise the acquisition of 100% of Amaro Averna and Zedda Piras<\/strong>, previously owned by the Campari Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The transaction, the agreement for which was signed last December 2025, takes the form of the establishment of the Newco Meridia, based in Sassari, whose governance sees the transition from Campari Group to DISARONNO GROUP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The employees of the two plants in Sicily (AA) and Sardinia (ZP) respectively \u2013 eleven in total \u2013 have all been taken on by Meridia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marco Ferrari, CEO of DISARONNO GROUP<\/strong>, comments: \u201c<em>This transaction represents a fundamental step in our growth plan and allows us to strategically enrich our portfolio internationally, significantly strengthening, thanks to Amaro Averna, our position in three of our priority markets: the United States, Germany and Italy. <\/em><em>In this context, the objective for Zedda Piras is to consolidate its presence on the Italian market<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announcement of the closing comes a few days after the Group announced its <strong>rebranding as DISARONNO
