{"id":237189,"date":"2026-05-12T11:56:42","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T09:56:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.alimentibevande.it\/uncategorized\/controllo-granulometrico-delle-polveri-alimentari\/"},"modified":"2026-05-12T12:01:12","modified_gmt":"2026-05-12T10:01:12","slug":"particle-size-control-in-food-powder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alimentibevande.it\/en\/macchine-alimentari-en\/particle-size-control-in-food-powder\/","title":{"rendered":"Particle-size control in food powder"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>OptiSieve <\/strong>is the centrifugal sifter developed by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.piovan.com\/food-and-powders\/\">Piovan Food &amp; Powders<\/a><\/strong> for the technical screening of <strong>powdered ingredients<\/strong> and the breakup of small clumps before downstream stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The system operates either <strong>gravity-fed<\/strong> or <strong>in-line<\/strong>, on positive-pressure or vacuum pneumatic conveying lines, while keeping pressure losses low and process continuity high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sieving surface consists of an <strong>Aisi 304 basket<\/strong>, BA finish, 2 mm thick, with a minimum aperture of 1000 microns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The internal mesh, in different weaves and perforated sheets, can be configured according to particle size and application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Aisi 304 or 316 construction in, with polished internal surfaces and hygienic design, supports inspection, cleaning and contamination control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With <strong>capacities from 1 to 10 t\/h<\/strong> depending on the application, the machine delivers compliant product directly to the next process stage and separates rejects through a dedicated front outlet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sieving element is sturdy and easy to remove, while the head-lid lifting system simplifies maintenance.
