A new product line, developed in a previously unseen format, which will represent the company\u2019s top label within the SEM Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project, announced last year during the celebrations of the 130th anniversary of the water at Castello di Solfagnano (Perugia), was created with the aim of entering a market segment not previously covered by the brand. The strategy envisages an initial rollout in Central and Southern Italy, followed by gradual expansion nationwide. Production will take place at the Nocera Umbra facility, in the province of Perugia, which includes the Angelica and Flaminia springs. The site employs around 50 people and boasts an annual production capacity of 150 million bottles, 90% of which are in PET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab<em>The new glass bottle represents much more than just a new product for us: it is a strategic step marking Acqua Nocera Umbra\u2019s return to the world of quality dining<\/em> &#8211; says <strong>Claudio Turchi, President of the SEM Group<\/strong> -. <em>We aimed to c<strong>reate an offering that combines elegance, territorial identity, and sustainability<\/strong>, responding to a market that is increasingly attentive to the overall consumer experience. This project demonstrates our desire to grow through innovation without ever losing touch with our roots<\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The launch of the new bottle is part of the <strong>SEM Group\u2019s growth path<\/strong>, now one of the most dynamic players in Italy\u2019s natural mineral water extraction and bottling sector. Headquartered in Vignola, in the Modena district, the Group has developed a national and international presence over time, while maintaining a strong connection with the territories of origin of its springs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company\u2019s modern history began in 1984 in Fanano, in the Modenese Apennines, with the development of Monte Cimone Natural Mineral Water. Since then, the Group has embarked on a path of steady growth, acquiring historic brands and outstanding production sites: from the Clavdia Springs in Lazio, with the Clavdia and Giulia sources, to the Nocera Umbra Historic Springs hub in Umbria, supplied by the Angelica spring\u2014already known since the 16th century\u2014and the more recent Flaminia source, up to Nuova Samicer in the province of Reggio Emilia, with the Ventasso and Lieta springs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The identity of the SEM Group is based on a balance between tradition and innovation, also reflected in its connection with the Bisleri name. <strong>The Bisleri family<\/strong>, led by Felice Bisleri, made its mark on Italian industrial history as early as the late 19th century, contributing to the spread of products related to well-being and health. Even today, in international markets such as India, the name Bisleri is synonymous with mineral water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, the SEM Group carries forward this legacy by combining quality, sustainability, and technological innovation, developing new synergies in the beverage sector while enhancing natural resources and local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context also comes the launch of the first edition of the Acqua Nocera Umbra \u2013 Fonte Angelica Award, which will take place on May 22 at Castello di Solfagnano. The initiative aims to promote, from a cultural perspective, the exclusivity and tradition of a historic Made in Italy product, honoring figures from the worlds of media, sports, and culture who, through their work, contribute to promoting and representing Italian excellence and identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab<em>Both the new label and the establishment of the award reflect our intention to bring water to the center of attention<\/em> &#8211; emphasizes <strong>Matteo Marchi, General Manager of the SEM Group<\/strong> -. <em>We are talking about a sector that generates significant numbers: <strong>in Italy alone, over 15 billion liters of bottled water are consumed each year, equivalent to 257 liters per capita<\/strong>.
