In an increasingly complex and globalized food supply chain, the availability of ro b u s t t r a n s p a re n c y mechanisms is becoming essential. Label verification systems based on artificial intelligence (AI) and optical charac ter recognition (OCR) are emerging technologies that can revolutionize food safety and traceability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of a recent study<\/strong> conducted by a US researcher (Polo et al., 2025<\/strong>) was to analyze how these digital solutions contribute to improving operational efficiency<\/strong>, reducing human error<\/strong>, and ensuring regulatiory compliance<\/strong> in food production and distribution systems. In addition, the author explores the integration of advanced computer vision tools, such as Garland Verify Edge<\/strong>, which enable realtime inspection, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tracking, and blockchain integration to document and validate product information throughout the entire supply chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
