One of the provisions contained in the measure provides for the <strong>elimination of the obligation to display the name of the producer in the same field of vision as spirits with geographical indications<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The simplification of the label \u2013 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/assodistil.it\/\">AssoDistil<\/a> <\/strong>emphasises in a statement \u2013 does not represent a reduction in transparency, but rather a measure aimed at <strong>avoiding overlapping information<\/strong> that could potentially cause confusion or &#8216;bombard&#8217; consumers with redundant elements at the time of purchase&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The result achieved \u2013 continues AssoDistil \u2013 was made possible thanks to intense teamwork, which saw our association working in close coordination with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.origin-italia.it\/\">oriGIn<\/a><\/strong>, the international organisation for geographical indications, and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/spirits.eu\/\">spiritsEUROPE<\/a><\/strong>, the European organisation representing spirits producers, in order to protect producers of spirits with geographical indications and, at the same time, guarantee consumers accurate, clear and non-misleading information&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is no longer mandatory to indicate the name of the producer in the same field of vision.
